Hi, I’m Lou – a self-taught artist based in Rossendale.. I create custom portraits and original paintings inspired by pets, people, wildlife, and the beauty of nature.

Art was simply a hobby I loved, but a few years ago I decided to take the leap and start creating professionally. Since then, it’s become so much more — not just a career, but also something that supports my mental health and helps me find calm in a busy, unpredictable life.

As a mum, and living with keratoconus which affects my vision, I’ve learned how important it is to hold onto the things that ground you. For me, that’s art.

Whether I’m capturing the personality of a beloved pet, a cherished family moment, or creating something bold and imaginative, my aim is always the same: to create artwork that feels alive, personal, and full of meaning — something you’ll treasure for years to come.
